SENSES - Clothing Designed for Kids with SPD
Children with SPD (Sensory Processing Disorder) have trouble processing information from the senses and reacting/responding appropriately to that information. These kids typically have one or more senses that either over or under react to stimulation. Unfortunately sensory processing disorder can cause issues with a child's development and behavior. For my senior capstone project at RIT, focused on improving the lives of children with SPD. My clothing design(s) mainly address the touch, movement , vision, and hearing senses, with style.
